Meet our Directorial Team
Candice Stine (Director)
This Candice's first production with Act II.  She has an MFA in Theatre from Texas Tech University and has attended The Second City in Chicago. She teaches drama for the Francis Howell School District.  Candice and her husband moved here four years ago from Texas where she taught high school and college theatre as well as founded the Angelina Playhouse in Lufkin, Texas. She also served on the board of the Texas Educational Theatre Association and chaired the State Scholarship Audition for TETA.  Since moving to the St. Charles area she has worked as a professional costume designer and appeared in several area productions. She has appeared in SCCC'S production of Steel Magnolias as Truvy and in  Moon Over Buffalo as Charlotte.  Candice loves living and working in the St. Charles area with her husband Patrick (whom she would like to say thanks for his non-stop support, and their two really spoiled dogs, Gracie and Dott.


ASST. DIRECTOR PATRICK VAUGHN
Patrick C. Vaughn, the Dean of Arts and Humanities at St. Charles Community College, has received an Interdisciplinary Fine Arts PhD with an emphasis in Theatre and a Master of Arts in Theater/Directing from Texas Tech University. Prior to his current position at SCCC, he was the theatre program coordinator at Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. Since moving to Missouri, Patrick has become involved in supporting the arts all across the county. He is currently the President of the St. Charles County Arts Council, and the former Chair and current board member of the St. Charles County Youth Choir.
