Show Dates: April 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27
Bent as usual on a good deed, Opal tries to round up a husband for her friend, Rosie, and answers a lonely hearts ad placed by “Mister Handsome” who, when he shows up, proves to be a ninety-five-year-old escapee from a nursing home. As expected, complications ensue. The plot thickens hilariously and, in the end, Opal is left with another delightful lesson in life to pass on to her myriad admirers.

| This has been a new and challenging opportunity to do a "sequel" of Opal, which I had hoped for after doing the first Opal. And who knows if Opal will return for a threequel! I have always loved working in community theater and especially with Act II. Finding time for this outlet seems to get harder as the "real" world demands seem ever increasing. But, there have been times that my friends in Act II have helped pull me through the "real" world. I would hope more people would find time for community theater. It can be a lot of work but the rewards are greater. Oh, and it is a great place to practice perfectionism and patience!

| This is a new role for Hank who has usually played a part or worked backstage. He is really excited to be working with RD and with a great cast of dear friends. Hank wants to thank Jessie, Debi and Becky and everyone who has worked so hard to make ACT II the great group that it is. Most of all he wants to thank Moraima who has supported him through all of these years.
